THE HANDOVER DIRECT STORY

SUPPORT SHAPED BY EXPERIENCE

Handover Direct began with a simple idea: to help people reclaim their time. Marina and I, both with strong corporate backgrounds, started by helping an elderly couple manage their holiday home in Cornwall. From co-ordinating guests to organising cleaners, we saw first hand how much people want to enjoy their evenings and weekends, without being constantly "on call".

That experience sparked something bigger. We realised businesses and busy individuals face the same challenge - too much admin and not enough time to focus on what really matters. So, we built Handover Direct – a virtual assistant company designed to take the pressure off.  Our goal is simple; we handle the tasks that slow you down, so you can focus on growth, creativity and enjoying life.

What makes us unique? Outsourcing to Handover Direct is cost effective, reliable and flexible. We don’t take sick days, we are always covered during holidays, and we provide professional support that is often cheaper than hiring a full-time employee. Daniel – Founder

After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Daniel spent five years at an £80m company handling transactional work through to board-level reporting. He kept seeing capable businesses struggling because they needed professional support but couldn't justify a full-time hire. They'd push through until they hit a wall.
Together with Marina, he now provides that support. Reliable, professional, and without the commitment of a permanent employee.

Marina - Co-Founder

Marina has worked in the Creative & Marketing industry since 2017. She began her career working exclusively in marketing, managing social media platforms and creating engaging, creative content across multiple channels. She later expanded into client services within a large organisation, managing multi-million-pound marketing campaigns for one of the UK’s leading retail companies. She has worked closely with senior team members and has seen first-hand the impact that workload pressure can have on teams and the wider business. This experience is the reason she co-founded Handover Direct with Daniel.
